Dear Students:
I am happy to report that our department liaisons for Fall
2009/Spring 2010, in alphabetical order, will be Chris
Glass, Zoe Meyers, Maya Simpson, and Andrew Graham Strait. I
want to thank everyone who was willing to serve as a liaison
as well as everyone who made recommendations.
Congratulations to our new liaisons, and many thanks again
to Marisa Castro and Tori Brosius for all their work this
year.
Good luck to everyone in finishing out the semester, and

Pomona College offers a varied and integrated curriculum in
history, the disciplined study of the human past. History
majors pursue creative, critical and analytical studies in a
program emphasizing both breadth of knowledge and depth of
understanding. History courses also offer enrichment,
support, context and perspective for the study of other
disciplines. Central to the liberal arts, history supplies a
solid foundation for careers in public affairs, legal
studies, business and education, as well as for postgraduate
